It has Halal certification, and does not use any pork products or alcoholic drinks. It also follows the Islamic way of slaughtering animals. It offers a variety of dishes, such as spicy chicken with sesame seeds and steamed lemon fish. It also has moon shrimp cakes, stir-fried beef, kangkong with shrimp paste, and many more. All of them are suitable for Taiwanese taste buds. The restaurant is spacious and bright, and has a basement prayer room for Muslim customers. The owner, Mr. Ma, is a devout Muslim and businessman, and has many photos with famous politicians and businessmen, and the Quran on the wall. Yunus Halal Restaurant is an important restaurant that Muslim Tourism Association Taiwan (MTAT) often recommends to Muslim tourists. It is one of the most representative Halal restaurants in Taiwan.
